“I couldn’t be more delighted to announce that Charlotte Leas has joined Joshua Cohen and me at SDLV.net” Mr. Clark said. Charlotte has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1994. She is a native of Omaha, Nebraska.

“I am pleased to be newly associated with SDLV online directory and news magazine for Las Vegas Seniors,” Mrs. Leas replied. “I have worked within the aging community for the past 19 years here in Las Vegas, and I see the advantage of having this valuable resource available for seniors businesses right at their fingertips.”

“I look forward to offering your businesses this opportunity to promote the senior discounts that you provide,” she added.

Charlotte earned her degree in Ministry from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 1992. She is a member of the Jesuit National Honor Society Alpha Sigma Nu. The National Association of Catholic Chaplains certified her in 1991. Her Certification for Professional Instruction for Ministry came in 1997.

“Charlotte will be terrific as a Community Outreach Coordinator,” predicts Janet Delaney, SMA Community Outreach/Ambassador Coordinator. “Charlotte is a wonderful friend to all. She never turns down someone in need. Somehow, she finds a way to assist them,” Ms. Delany continued. “I’ve known Charlotte many years, over 14, I’m sure. She has been a tremendous help and friend to me.”

“I’m pleased to let everyone know how great and considerate Charlotte is. She always gives unwavering support to every organization of which she is a member,” Ms. Delany observed.

Those organizations include Aging Service Director’s Organization (ASDO), the Southern Nevada Continuity of Care Association (SNCCA), and the Clark County Ministerial Association (CCMA). Charlotte has a long history of working with Hospice patients and Bereavement Activities for Hospices in Las Vegas.

Senior Solutions Group & Homewatch CareGivers Community Outreach Director Karen Busch agreed with Ms. Delany. “I have known Charlotte for 13 years and her strengths will be a great fit as Community Outreach Coordinator for SDLV,” she noted.

“I have also known Charlotte for several years,” Mr. Clark added. “She and I share the same desire to help unite the aging community.” He said that Mrs. Leas poise and caring dignity had attracted the admiration of everyone who knows her.

Joshua Cohen, Project Architect and SDLV co-owner welcomed Mrs. Leas aboard. “I think Charlotte will give SDLV a new-found presence in the local aging community.”

Charlotte and her husband Fred have seven adult children and eight grandchildren. Her hobbies are reading, hiking, travel and visiting her grandchildren.
